The heart of this ministry is to create a culture of women that live with intention by the ‘SEC’ond.
Servitude Encouragement Community
The Meet Ups are designed to facilitate this by offering ways to S-erve together, E-ncourage each other, and establish healthy relationships by being consistently a part of a Christ centered C-ommunity.
No matter what you will surely leave different than you came, and hopefully with a new friend too!
Meet Ups offer women a place to physically come for a bite to eat, fellowship, worship, God’s word, and an opportunity to serve.
Any woman desiring friendship, encouragement, & Jesus.
Food, fellowship, worship, testimony, scripture, & prayer.
One Saturday a month.

***FIRST MEET UP GATHERING IS JANUARY 27TH, AT BRECKSVILLE LIBRARY***
Founder of The Nest in Akron, Ohio
“Hi I’m Jenna Brown, I live in Akron Ohio, am married to a stellar dude, have 2 bio kids aged almost 5, and 2 and am “sister-mom” to two adopted half brothers of ours who are now 21 and 20! I get the privilege of running a non profit in Akron called The Nest, where we serve moms, kids, dads and whole families all to the glory of God. One of my biggest passions in life is shedding light on the big taboo… “mental illness”. Jk its not that taboo anymore. But my heart on it may be a tad out of the ordinary of what you hear around you. After my son was born 5 years ago, I suffered from a traumatic birth scenario, nearly lost my life, suffered from PTSD, post partum depression, and it led me to where I am now. For years I spoke putting a face to mental illness, to reduce stigma. But a year ago, God healed me completely, 100% from mental illness… by transforming my mind. I believe that God wants to set you free from mental illness, 100%, completely, and is willing. I’d love to share with you more on January 27th, on the ways that God has set my mind free, and the gospel truth that the Bible, The Father, Son and Holy Spirit have to say about mental illness. See you there!”
